I build software for the web and mobile. I care about the products I build, and I do my best work on products I actually stand behind. I push on what users actually want, and building products people like to use is something I take a lot of pride in. I bring my own ideas to the roadmap, and spar with product owners and designers on 80/20 solutions so we can ship sooner and more often.

The Athlete's FoodCoach, a nutrition app used by pro cycling teams including Team Visma | Lease a Bike and Red Bull–Bora–Hansgrohe, and thousands of other athletes.

Before

I've worked on a pension management platform, internal tooling at a bank, a real estate marketplace, e-commerce, SaaS, and more dynamic marketing websites than I can count.

Hired for

Deep React experience, and getting a whole team using it well: configuration and training that keep the usual footguns out of reach after I've moved on. Increasingly for product ownership too — bringing ideas to the roadmap and owning the outcome, not just the tickets.

AI

I use AI coding agents daily for a variety of tasks, and contiuously experiment with new tools and workflows. I'm also the designated AI Champion at FrontValue.

Stack

For my own projects I prefer to use TypeScript end to end: React and TanStack Start on the web, React Native and Expo on mobile, tRPC and Drizzle ORM with PostgreSQL underneath. The full list is on the about page.
